I would love to see what these guys come up with for a Martian constitution. There are so many issues that an extraterrestrial colony may have to face that we don't even have to think about on Earth (the "right to breath air" being one of them, as mentioned in the article).
Given that I am firmly of the belief that a Martian colony should be politically independent from the get-go, that this is already being thought about and discussed is a very good thing indeed.
